}Set the business username
Claims or changes the number’s username at Meta. Meta’s rules are checked first, so a name Meta would refuse does not use up one of the number’s changes: 3 to 35 characters; English letters, numbers, dots and underscores only; at least one letter; no dot at the start or end and no two dots in a row; not starting with www.; not ending in a web or file ending such as .com. Case does not matter.
Meta allows 2 changes every 14 days per number, and deleting does not reset that. Meta’s refusals come back in plain words: the name is taken (147001), the number cannot have one yet (147002), a Facebook Page (147003) or Instagram account (147004) uses it, another number in your business uses it (147005), or too many changes (130429).
