Your plan is a Stripe subscription. Stripe holds your card, charges each renewal, retries failed payments and issues the invoices. LazyApp mirrors what Stripe reports, so Settings → Billing always shows the state Stripe has.

Start a plan

  1. Open Settings → Billing and choose Starter, Growth or Pro, monthly or yearly, with any add-ons.
  2. Pay by card on Stripe Checkout. Plans are charged in INR.
  3. The plan starts as soon as payment completes. Back in Billing, the page updates once Stripe confirms.
Your first plan payment is refundable in full if you ask within 7 days.

Change a plan

Billing shows the exact amount for a change before you confirm it. Upgrades apply now because you want the extra room now. If your card is declined, nothing changes: you stay on your current plan and are not charged. Downgrades and cancellations wait for the period end because you have already paid for it. Until then you keep everything you paid for, and you can undo the downgrade or cancellation from Billing. A downgrade has to fit what you use today. If you have more numbers connected or more members (counting pending invitations) than the smaller plan allows, LazyApp refuses the change and says what to remove first:
Features work differently. You can move to a plan without automations while you still have automations, for example. They stay in your workspace to open, pause, archive or delete, but you cannot create or change them in Live until you upgrade again. See Feature gating.

When a plan ends

After a cancellation takes effect, or when Stripe gives up on a failed payment, the workspace has no plan:
  • Sending from your own number, automations and other plan features pause.
  • Nothing is deleted. Your contacts, conversations, templates and settings stay.
  • Billing shows Choose a plan. Pick one and everything works again.
  • Test mode keeps working, as it does without a plan.

Invoices

Stripe’s invoice is the invoice of record. Each plan payment gets one, with a hosted page and a PDF. Stripe also emails a receipt for each successful payment.
  • Open Manage billing in Settings → Billing to reach the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can download every invoice, change your card and cancel.
  • Your billing details in Settings → Billing (legal name, billing email, address and optional GSTIN) are printed on your invoices.
  • Billing emails go to the workspace owner, and to your billing email when it differs.

Messages are not on your LazyApp invoice

Meta bills your messages directly, to the payment method on your WhatsApp Business Account, at Meta’s rates. LazyApp adds 0%. Nothing about messages appears on your LazyApp invoice. LazyApp still records every charged message on the usage ledger: its category, the contact’s region, Meta’s rate and whether Meta counted it as free. That record is for you to reconcile against Meta’s invoice. Usage in the console shows it by number and category. See Meta message billing.
