No wallet pays a LazyApp fee per message. Wallets are in INR.
A workspace that had money in its wallet before plans still sees that balance in Settings → Billing, labelled as money left from before plans.
Resellers
A reseller pays LazyApp’s plan price for each client workspace from their own wallet, and bills their clients whatever they like, outside LazyApp. Client workspaces have no wallet and never pay LazyApp by card.- The wallet lives on the reseller home, with Add money and how many days the balance lasts at your current clients.
- Each client’s plan is debited from the wallet when it starts and at each monthly renewal.
- If the wallet is short at renewal, the client’s plan keeps working for a 3-day grace period. You and the client are both told. If you have not added money by then, the client’s plan features pause.
Platform teams
A platform team is on the Platform plan: every feature, no caps. It pays ₹999 a month for each connected customer number, debited from its wallet. Managed customer workspaces use the platform team’s plan. The wallet shows as low when it holds less than one month of that cost. Platform customers’ messages are billed by Meta to each business, at Meta’s rates, with no markup. The only exception is a number LazyApp pays Meta for, through partner-managed funding. Then LazyApp debits Meta’s rate from a wallet: the platform team’s, or the customer’s own when that customer is prepaid. When the WhatsApp account is not billed in USD, 5% is added for currency conversion, and messages not sent through LazyApp add a further 5%. See Platform overview and Platform funding.Add money
Open Settings → Billing (or Add money on the reseller home) and choose an amount:
You can also type your own amount, from ₹100 to ₹1,00,000. You pay by card on Stripe Checkout, and the wallet is credited the same amount once the payment succeeds.
Automatic top-up
A wallet that runs dry stops paying for client plans or customer numbers, so you can let LazyApp top it up from a saved card. Open Settings → Billing → Automatic top-up.- Save a card. You go to Stripe’s secure page once. LazyApp never sees the card number, only the brand and last four digits.
- Choose when and how much. For example, add ₹2,500 when the balance falls below ₹500.
- Turn it on.
- One top-up at a time. Several debits crossing the threshold together cause one charge, not many.
- Bank approval. If your bank asks you to approve the charge (3-D Secure) or refuses it, LazyApp does not retry silently. Your billing contacts get an email asking them to add money by hand, and the next automatic attempt waits a day.
- Removing the card turns automatic top-up off.
