How resellers differ from platform teams
In both cases, Meta bills each business directly for its WhatsApp messages, at Meta’s rates. LazyApp adds 0%, and neither model has a per-message markup. See Meta message billing.
How the money works
Each client workspace is on a LazyApp plan, and your wallet pays for it:- A client picks a plan in Billing on your address. They see the monthly price you set for that plan.
- LazyApp debits that plan’s monthly price from your wallet, and the plan starts. The client never enters a card with LazyApp.
- Every month, the plan renews from your wallet in the same way.
- You bill the client your price, outside LazyApp — your invoice, your payment terms.
Become a reseller
1
Apply
Go to
/start and request to resell. If you’re not signed in, you’re asked to log in or create an account first. LazyApp reviews the request and approves it.2
Set up your brand
Once you’re approved, setup opens with three steps:
- Brand — your name, logo and support email. Clients see these in the console and in the email they receive; replies go to your support email.
- Address — your free address,
{slug}.lazyapp.in, works straight away. A custom domain is optional, and you can add it later. - Prices — the monthly price clients see for each plan. Leave a plan empty to show no price. You can change prices later.
3
Add money
Your wallet must cover a plan before a client can start it. Click Add money on your reseller home and pay by card. The money is added once the payment completes. See Wallets.
4
Invite clients
Send clients to your address to sign up, or add them from Clients. Each client gets their own workspace on your brand.
Your reseller home
Your reseller home is at/reseller. Switch between it and your own workspace from the header.
When your wallet runs short
Your wallet pays one client month at a time, so keep at least a month of your clients’ plans in it. Overview shows how many days the balance lasts, and LazyApp emails you when what’s left will not cover a month. If the wallet is short when a client picks a plan, the plan does not start. The client is told that you need to add money before the plan can start, and LazyApp emails you to add money. Once you do, they can start it straight away. If the wallet is short at a renewal, the client’s plan keeps working for a 3-day grace period:- The client sees a notice in Billing that their provider needs to add money, with the date the grace period ends, and receives an email.
- You receive an email asking you to add money for that client, and Overview lists the clients your wallet did not cover.
- If you add money in time, the plan renews. If not, the plan ends when the grace period is over: sending from the client’s own number and the other plan features pause. Nothing is deleted. To restore it, add money and have the client choose the plan again in Billing.
What clients see
On your address, clients see your brand — your name, logo and support email — and not LazyApp’s marketing site. They sign in, connect their WhatsApp number, and pick a plan in Billing, which shows your price for each plan and says that you pay for the plan and bill them directly. Everything else works as it does for any LazyApp workspace, within the client’s plan. See Plans and limits for what each plan includes.Related
